What can my business store within its .tel?

Companies can store 5 different types of information under their .tel domain:

  1. Contact Info (Telephone, Mobile, Email, VOIP, Fax...)
  2. Content Links (HTTP or FTP sites, Corporate Websites...)
  3. Navigation Links (Country, City, Branch, Department, Brands...)
  4. Geolocation (Maps to HQ Address, Local Addresses...)
  5. Indexable Text (Information, Keywords...)

1. Contact Information

You can store all your contact information, including, but not limited to:

Companies can also store links to web pages, including:
• http or ftp sites
• corporate websites
• portals
• blogs
• links to partners, affiliates or subsidiaries

3. Navigation Links

Companies with contact information that span multiple offices, departments or brands can store Navigation Links in their .tel.

This makes it even easier for their customers to reach the correct location
or department.
   

4. Geolocation

Companies can store geolocation records (links to maps) for every location.
   

5. Indexable Text

There are two kinds of indexable text:

  1. Information
  2. Keywords
Information

The ‘information’ record allows for businesses to publish company names, local addresses and descriptive text, which can be used to promote a specific office.
   
Keywords

Companies can also publish keywords that describe their business.

Keywords can be stored:
• at every level
• for every office and department
• and in any language
